That’s why we’ve adopted a no-compensation system, so that answerers’ opinions won’t be biased. In other words, they’re free to write anything except personal attacks.

Let me repeat that:

(That said, there are rules.)
Since the president himself has said this, they are official answerers.
In the first place, Universe issues accounts to specific individuals. I honestly don’t understand why someone would consider them unofficial when their accounts have been formally issued.
If someone is hacking the accounts, or if an answerer has made their account public and an unofficial person is answering from it, then please let us know.

Since the people answering have applied to join the club and been approved, you could say they’re official in a sense.
That said, conversations sometimes turn into inside jokes and shop talk. So I can understand why people who aren’t familiar with that side of things might see those exchanges and wonder, “Can’t something be done about this?”
