Do you act differently from your usual self? Please tell me how to spot a bad personality—and the traits of a terrible guy! Thank you!

Maezawa from the CEO’s office here as well. Thanks for your question. > How can I tell if someone has a bad personality? It’s difficult to define exactly what makes someone “bad,” but you can usually get a sense during the time between meeting up and having a meal. For example, men who lecture you about where the value lies in response to the allowance you’re asking for, men who talk down to restaurant staff, or men who push things forward too aggressively. If you feel even slightly that something is strange about a man, I think it’s best to assume there’s a reason for that feeling. That said, even with men like that, a woman who knows how to handle them might still be able to date them. What do you think...?

I’m Basil, a male member. It seems like I’m a completely different person at work compared to in this activity. At work, I’m tense and sometimes raise my voice, but in this world, I’ve been told many times, “I can’t imagine you ever getting angry, Basil.” I’m not consciously acting differently—I feel like I’m behaving naturally in both settings—so I guess I’m just more relaxed when I’m off the clock. Even when something bothers me a little, I usually keep quiet. The only time I’ve really gotten angry was at someone who canceled on me at the last minute repeatedly. By the way, in this world, I think a nasty scumbag of a guy is someone who breaks promises—especially someone who tries to cut back on the allowance afterward.

I’m Kazu, a male member. Changing my persona sounds like a hassle, so I haven’t changed it. What people consider “bad character” seems to vary from person to person. When I hear “jerk” in the context of a dating club, I think of men who don’t keep their promises or who can’t treat their partner as an individual human being. By someone who doesn’t keep his promises, I mean, for example, a man who secretly removes the condom and continues after she’s told him to keep it on. I can’t think of any way to identify someone like that in advance. As for men who can’t treat their partner as a person, I suppose they’re like the men in Romane’s column who are unable to consider how the other person feels. https://universe-club.jp/female/author/romane/ Judging from the column, this particular man already seemed dangerous during dinner. When I hear women’s stories, I’m often surprised by how many say that, even though the man already seemed dangerous at the dinner stage, they went along with him to a room anyway. I can only marvel at their remarkable adventurous spirit.
