Once I’ve taken my clothes off and gotten into bed, I feel too shy to make eye contact or look at his face. During intimacy, I get so embarrassed that I often look away or close my eyes (partly because it feels good).

I think it varies from person to person, but I always assumed it was normal to be so caught up in the moment that you don’t really have the composure to look at your partner.
So I don’t think it would make them feel uncomfortable.

I don’t think my face is particularly photogenic, so I’d actually feel less embarrassed if you didn’t look at me too much. That’s why it doesn’t bother me.
As long as you keep your eyes closed and enjoy yourself, that’s more than enough. Almost everyone is like that.
If it really bothers you, why not casually say, “I’m embarrassed,” and hint that you’re looking away because you feel shy?
