You won’t be rejected based on your occupation. So even if you work in the adult entertainment industry, it won’t be an issue, and you’ll be evaluated according to the usual criteria.
That said, quite a few men probably won’t make an offer to a woman who works in that industry—possibly more than half.
I’d prefer you not to lie, but if you can keep a lie going, then no one will know whether it’s true or not.
As for the number of offers you receive, I think you’d likely get more offers if you listed a different occupation.

Working in the adult entertainment industry is not an automatic disqualifier. Some of the women currently registered with us also work in that industry.
When deciding whether to accept or reject an application, we make a comprehensive assessment based more on personality and appearance than occupation. So during the interview, please show us who you really are—honestly and without pretending.

There are women registered on the site who work in the adult entertainment industry. So if she’s a wonderful woman, I don’t think she’d be rejected simply because of her occupation.
