I’m a male member, Paper Airplane. One of the great things about the club is that, sooner or later, people who are looking for each other can meet. You may eventually meet someone who wants the same things you do… But perhaps you joined the club because, yourself included, none of us are completely perfect… So maybe give them a little leeway.

I was surprised by how judgmental your assumptions are. “An upstanding woman is a salaried employee who graduated from a reputable four-year university and works for a well-known company.” Well, everyone has their preferences, but there are plenty of respectable women regardless of where they work. I don’t think educational background matters, either. I think you should meet a wider variety of women.

I’m Kazu, a male member. It would be helpful if you could give a few more specific examples of what you mean by “a reasonably good university” and “a well-known company,” since people may have different ideas about those. That said, I believe women who fit those descriptions do exist. It’s usually difficult to find out where someone works unless you’ve gotten fairly close, but among all the women I’ve offered to meet, just over 10% told me they worked for a publicly traded company. When I think about it that way, the percentage is remarkably high—even though I mainly make offers to women I feel I’d enjoy talking with. Most of them are women with Platinum status or higher, so I think you’d need to register at least as Platinum. > Mac-san I left out civil servants and others who don’t work for well-known companies.
