I’m a male member. I don’t really understand why some women don’t want to shower together, especially afterward. Is it because they don’t want an older man getting touchy with them even though they’ve just cleaned themselves in the shower? Of course, I won’t if she refuses, but I still want some physical affection. Plus, showering together would save a little time.

Maezawa from the president’s office will answer this one as well. Thank you for your question. I think it would be a good idea to fill the bathtub in advance and invite her to take a bath together. Some women may be okay with soaking in the tub together. You could also compromise a little by saying that you can take the shower separately afterward. That way, you might just be able to satisfy both your desire for physical affection and her wish to shower alone. If she doesn’t like bright lighting, there may be hotels where you can make the room completely dark if you look around. (There probably aren’t many.) It might be worth inviting her to one of those hotels. If your goal is to save time, the method above may be difficult, but it could work if physical affection is your priority. She may be more likely to agree if you ask beforehand rather than afterward. Also, it’s important to check whether the room has a hair straightener or offers one for rent. (If you look around, most hotels will have hair ties or something similar.) If neither is available, taking a bath together may not be possible.

I’m Flag Maker, a columnist. I understand why some people prefer to shower alone. I want to gargle and brush my teeth, but I feel too self-conscious to do that in front of a woman. Women who prefer showering alone may feel the same way. Or maybe they just want a moment to themselves to go, “Phew, I’m exhausted!” There are also times when I want the woman to shower alone. In my previous column, “The Woman Who Wouldn’t Stop Joking Around,” I was completely worn out and wanted some time alone, so I turned down showering together by saying, “Sorry, can I take a little break? lol” And then there are times when I’m holding in a fart. I want to dash to the bathroom while she’s in the shower and let out a big one. Having to shower together when you really need to fart—holding it in while showering together—is its own kind of hell. So, as you can see, there are reasons you can’t tell your partner for not wanting to shower together. Try to accommodate the other person. :) > Meg In the bathrooms at love hotels that are at least halfway decent, isn’t there usually a button for a bubbling Jacuzzi and dimming the lights? Try looking for that button. It might solve the problem.

I’m Kazu, a male member. I think they’re simply embarrassed. Once you get closer, they may start coming in with you.

I’m Meg, a female member. It’s nice showering together with my beloved papa (a male supporter), isn’t it? But you know… shower rooms are usually so brightly lit, aren’t they? Personally, I find that pretty embarrassing. I wish they were a little dimmer… but I still shower together with him while thinking that, lol. > To Flag Maker I see! Thank you so much (*^^*) I’ll look around and see what I can find♪
