Anything too casual, like jeans, is a no-go. I’d recommend something cute, such as a skirt or dress!

There are plenty of women doing papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan) overseas too, and they’ve picked up all kinds of useful know-how.
In Japan, I’ve read on countless sites—probably a hundred million times—that your go-to date outfit should be a demure dress. But remember: to hell with that.
You could even put sticky notes saying “to hell with demure dresses” on every single one.
There’s a papa-katsu dating site called Seeking Arrangement, and it has an information site called Let’s Talk Sugar. I’d like you to read it carefully and learn from it.
You’re not selling your identity or soul for money. You’re going on a date with a man as a woman in your own right, not merely as a sexual object.
The outfit you feel good in should be your battle uniform.
In Japan, it’s almost considered common sense for everyone to wear similar-looking recruitment suits. But in real life, the people who succeed are those who live according to their convictions—the kind of people who show up to company information sessions wearing Hawaiian shirts.
That said, personally, I’d be happy if you wore a skirt.
