I understand why it can feel awkward to hand over the allowance before the meal, as requested by the club. But I think it would be fine to give her the transportation money according to the club’s rules while saying:
“Thank you for coming today.”
Likewise, when things progress to an adult relationship (intimate) after the meal, simply saying “Thank you” seems fine. If you want to make it clear what the money is for, you could say something like:
“Here’s your allowance for today. Thank you.”

I usually hand over the allowance while saying, “Thanks for today. I had a great time,” trying to keep it as discreet as possible.
But I don’t think you need to overthink it—just say whatever comes to mind at the time, haha.

Everyone keeps it short.
You don’t need anything special, but I think “Thanks as always,” or, if it’s your first time, “Thanks for today,” works well. It also makes it easier for me to say thank you in return.
