I’m Marika, a female member.
Sometimes I’ll open an email or LINE message, the notification disappears, and then I forget to reply.
Since we already had plans, I may not have realized that failing to respond to a confirmation message would result in a cancellation.
Sometimes I’m so busy wrapping up work to make it on time that I don’t even have a chance to check my messages. It would be really upsetting to have the plans canceled because of that.
From now on, it’s probably best to say in advance, “I’ll be confirming beforehand, so please reply to my message.”

Maybe she really just hadn’t checked her email, but I suspect she was weighing me against other plans. Even if I liked her looks, body, and conversational chemistry, either explanation would be a classic sign, in my view, that it wouldn’t last.

Thank you for your question.
> Not noticing an incoming email for more than 24 hours—is that really possible?
I think it’s entirely possible.
I feel that people are gradually checking their emails less and less frequently.
That’s probably because LINE and other chat tools have become so widespread. And these days, there also seem to be plenty of people who leave a large number of messages unread on LINE.
I think you should quickly reschedule and go on the date as planned.
I don’t know how old the woman is, but being able to experience things that reflect the times we live in is also one of the appealing aspects of dating clubs.
We’re always learning, no matter how old we are.
I think it’s good to have all kinds of experiences.

I don’t think there’s any deeper psychology behind it. It’s entirely possible that she didn’t check her messages all day, or that she read it but didn’t reply because everything was already going according to plan.
