Pregnancy isn’t the only concern—STIs can be frightening too. Sometimes they don’t cause any noticeable symptoms, even when you’re infected. I’m a male staff member, and I’ve had an STI in the past, so I’ve personally realized how important condoms are. (That said, wearing one doesn’t provide 100% protection.)

Maezawa from the President’s Office here. Thank you for your question. If he did that without your consent, I think you had every right to be angry, and you could have called the police on the spot. Even if you contact the police, it is currently difficult in practice to have the other person criminally punished. However, preserving evidence and putting pressure on him by making him aware that he could potentially face criminal charges—although that may be difficult—can help you negotiate from a stronger position, including through parallel civil proceedings. With that in mind, you can take more purposeful action. Incidentally, men who do things like that without permission have no sense of guilt because they have gotten away with women泣き寝入りing in the past. I think it shows just how little respect they have for women. As a club, we do not want trouble. Even so, unless someone firmly puts a stop to this behavior, I feel they will continue to think they can get away with it. Even if you did not contact the police at the time, you may still be able to file a civil lawsuit as long as you properly preserve the evidence. I recommend looking for a lawyer who is genuinely willing to support women.
