The men at the club always tell me, “You’re smaller than I expected” when I take it off.
My bra size is C70, and I’m pretty sure it’s correct because I’ve had it measured at several different stores. It also feels right to me.
I know my profile lists my bust size, so I wish they’d figure it out, but when I’m dressed, I’m often told things like, “You’re slim, but you also have a nice bust and figure.” So I’ve started wondering if it’s because of my bra…
The problem is that bras in this size tend to push everything together, create cleavage, or add a lot of padding, so it seems difficult to close the gap between how I look dressed and undressed.
Sports bras probably wouldn’t have those extra features, but they seem like they’d lack sex appeal…
Does anyone know of a brand that makes bras designed mainly for support, without adding much volume?
I have a fairly flat torso, so my breast root is on the wider side.
I understand that, from a man’s perspective, it might feel like false advertising, but it really hurts (; ;)

Any man rude enough to say something like that gets cut off right away…
I’m an AAA cup.
Actually, I don’t even need a bra…
I’ll be upfront with my companion beforehand:
“This is fake!!!”
If that’s not to their liking, then so be it.

If you live in Tokyo, I recommend visiting the Aubade lingerie counter on the 6th floor of Matsuya Ginza. It’s French-made lingerie. According to a handful of women from Universe whom Joe has offered it to, it doesn’t constrict with underwire and feels natural to wear. Joe can’t speak from personal experience, of course, but I think it’s lingerie that makes your figure look beautiful. I’m not sure whether this is a standard service, but they can also make minor size adjustments (which take at least a week).
The only drawback is the price—but that problem is solved if a wonderful man buys it for you as a gift.

I feel like I’ve written about bra cup sizes before, but even with the same cup size, breast volume can vary greatly depending on the underbust measurement.
As I recall, the breast volume of a heavier person with a C cup can be about the same as that of a slimmer person with a G cup. That’s why men tend to feel that:
- A slim person’s breasts are smaller than their cup size suggests.
- A heavier person’s breasts are larger than their cup size suggests.
In short, men don’t really understand cup sizes. (Haha.)
They may also not realize that telling a woman she’s small could hurt her feelings.

A bra can bring everything together and make your bust look fuller, so I do think it’s partly because of the bra. That said, I’m not sure you should change from the bra you’re currently wearing.
If people tell you that you have a great figure when you’re dressed, I think it’s better to leave things as they are.
If you don’t like comments about your chest when you’re undressed, you could say something like:
“When I’m undressed, comments about my chest hurt my feelings, so please don’t say anything about it.”
Even men who aren’t very perceptive will probably stop making comments after that. Though, if any man takes it as “Oh, so you want me to mention it,” I apologize. ＞＜
