When I go on dinner dates with women, I take them to restaurants that have earned stars in the Michelin Guide.
The women are satisfied as well.
I keep fun and work separate.
Also, when I think about how she might feel—“The food was delicious, but it was paid for with company money?”—I could expense it since it’s my own company, but I don’t ask for a receipt.
I guess I’m trying to look cool.

I don’t think it’s any of a woman’s concern what kind of money a man is using to pay her.

To claim something as a business expense, you need a legitimate justification. You can’t expense a date with a woman if you write down what it really was, and if you lie about it, that’s tax evasion.

I pay out of my personal wallet. It’s not about worrying that I’ll be seen as stingy—I keep company and personal finances completely separate, just like the person asking the question. So I assume only a small minority pay these expenses through their company.
