Thank you for your question.
> Do men generally see being a “young lady from a good family” as a major plus?
With Universe Club, photos are extremely important, so I think women who look like they come from a privileged background tend to receive more offers than women who actually do.
For example, even if her profile says “She’s from a wealthy family,” and even if that’s true, if she looks like a punk, she’ll probably only receive offers from men who like that style.
On the other hand, even if she isn’t actually from a privileged family, a woman who looks like she is will probably receive plenty of offers.

Where exactly are you trying to compete? Depending on that, the balance of power between you and the “young lady” could change.

I don’t think young ladies score highly simply because they come from privileged backgrounds. Rather, I get the impression that women who score highly are often from well-to-do families.
If there is a difference, I think it may be their education. Of course, there are plenty of exceptions, but children from wealthy families tend to receive a good education.
As for that “something you can’t overcome, no matter how hard you work to learn good manners, because of the environment you were born and raised in,” I think it’s personality and values. Would those also be considered part of being well-bred?
