There are all kinds of doctors, but if you’ve been seeing this doctor and have found some kind of direction, gained insight, or felt helped along the way, then there should already be a relationship of trust. I think it would be okay to open up about how you feel.
There’s no need to put on an act—the other person is a professional, so it’s fine to express yourself honestly.
There really are all kinds of people, but that’s true in every profession.
Not all doctors are driven by profit. There are countless doctors who continue to sincerely engage with their patients on the front lines.
Please don’t let this weigh too heavily on you.

The Universe Club girls I used to see were completely open with their assigned counselor and held nothing back. I would proofread the wording of the messages she sent to her counselor for her. I also got to read the counselor’s replies, and they were far from making her pull back. Rather than offering advice, it felt like the counselor was simply drawing her out and getting her to talk. I remember thinking that, even though it was their job, it must have been tough.
She explained what she was doing without using the term papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan). The one line I remember was, “As usual, my sex life is completely out of control.”

Since he’s only human, he might be taken aback internally, but I don’t think he would show it on his face or in his attitude. I believe he would listen to you properly.
