Maezawa from the President’s Office here. Thanks for your question. If by “tags” you mean things like new members or re-uploads, they’re added automatically by the system. I seem to remember the tag stays on for about a week, but the duration is fixed and it’s removed automatically once that time has passed. I’m not completely sure about the exact number of days, though, so hopefully someone will correct me if I’m wrong. As I mentioned in my previous answer, the system specifications have changed slightly recently. If a woman who previously withdrew her membership registers again, she should technically be treated as a new member. However, the system used to automatically label her as a re-upload. It has now been changed so that staff can mark her as a new registration instead. So, if nothing is done, new members will show as new and cases such as new photos will show as re-uploads, as before. But for re-registrations, someone has to manually select “new.” Because of that, if a new staff member makes a mistake while operating the system, something that should be labeled a re-upload may end up being marked as new. I think that would simply be human error. If it were done intentionally, they’d lose people’s trust.
