That said, in Part 4 of *JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure*, *Diamond Is Unbreakable*, there’s a character named Yuya Fungami who developed an incredibly keen sense of smell after absorbing energy through his Stand. He could even tell when someone was angry by their scent—perhaps the smell of adrenaline? There was also a scene where he apparently realized through his sense of smell that a woman who had come to visit someone was on her period. So perhaps heightened senses of smell really could allow someone to notice such things. Still, it seems difficult for an ordinary man to tell. I’ve heard that perfume developers have a sharper sense of smell than the average person, so perhaps someone like that might be able to… Come to think of it, there are women online who proudly claim they can tell the size of a man’s package the moment they meet him.（笑）

Sometimes, after seeing someone for a long time, I’ll notice they seem different from usual—more irritable or lethargic, for example—and think, “Could it be…?”
