If you get an offer for a date on the same day, what do you do when you realize your outfit isn’t really date-appropriate…?
Do you buy reasonably affordable clothes, shoes, or something similar, change, and then head over?
I’m Maezawa from the President’s Office, and I’ll answer this as well.
Thank you for your question.
In that situation, when you receive an offer, you could ask:
“This isn’t really an outfit for a date. Could you check with the man whether it’s okay for me to come as I am? If he’s okay with my outfit, I’d like to accept the offer.”
The man will then confirm and get back to you.
If he says it’s fine, you can go in the outfit you’re wearing.
If not, the offer will be withdrawn. However, if that’s how he feels, things might not have worked out even if you had met. It’s probably best to accept that it wasn’t meant to be and move on.
