I met a woman during the day, but at the restaurant she suddenly started asking things like, “What kind of work do you do? Are you off today? How old is your wife? What are things like with your wife at night? How old are your children? Do you have grandchildren? How many women have you been with?” etc. I had crammed her profile—anime, yoga, and hot springs—the night before (sigh), hoping we could have a fun, positive conversation, so this caught me completely off guard! Somehow I managed to steer the conversation in a more relaxed direction, agreed on the allowance, and we left the restaurant. During S〇X, she said she was tired two or three times, then immediately went to the bathroom and shower. She never came back to bed, and instead got dressed and did her makeup. She had said she was off work and had plenty of time today, so I understand that she didn’t have a good impression of me. Questions: ① Do women really ask such personal questions right away on a first meeting? This was my first experience with a woman like that. ② What was this woman thinking? ③ In her videos, she said she loved S〇X (very much) and older men. ④ Maybe I wasn’t her type, but she was just after the money(笑) ⑤ Is anyone who can go on a weekday daytime date automatically a〇〇 person? (I run my own company.) I’d appreciate your thoughts. P.S. Of course, I didn’t even get a thank-you message.

I’m Maezawa from the CEO’s office, and I’ll answer this too. Thanks for your question. You want to know various things about the other person, but since there’s usually very little information about men, I think she simply wanted to learn more about the man she might sleep with. She was probably new to the site and wasn’t used to it yet. (Though it’s more likely that she’s simply the type who asks whatever comes to mind.) Still, if the man answered something like: “Well, as for that… I’m not telling you just yet.” I don’t think she would keep asking. Of course, once he says it’s a secret, she’ll probably keep it a secret too, so I can’t say whether that’s necessarily a good thing—but at least it would probably stop the questions. Men might find it strange because they’re given the woman’s information beforehand. But if they had no information about her at all, I think experienced men, or men who are considerate of their partner, would avoid asking. Still, there would probably be men who asked the same kinds of questions as this woman. Apparently, some men even ask students where they go to university almost immediately after meeting them. So I think they’re both pretty similar. You’re supposed to wait until you’ve gotten somewhat close before asking, but people do naturally become curious.

I’m Rin, a female member. I suppose that’s the kind of world you live in. That said, I’m not sure what to make of the way you, the questioner, go on and on writing posts like this—neither a clear message to anyone nor quite a rant. I hope you have more enjoyable encounters from here on.

I’m Paper Airplane, a male member. When you’re suddenly asked to make a video after the interview, it can be confusing—especially since many women either can’t answer questions about sex or simply brush them off. > “In the video, she said she liked S〇X (very much) and older men.” It’s highly likely she had been coached in advance by a scout or friend and was saying it strategically.

I’m Kazu, a male member. There are women who suddenly barge right into your personal space like that. I’m not comfortable with it either. On a related note, I also have trouble with writing like this question, where there are no periods and you have to keep reading while imagining the context connecting one sentence to the next. Only she knows what she was thinking, but it seemed to me that she was choosing topics anyone could easily go back and forth on. Maybe she simply didn’t have much to talk about, or perhaps she was just the type with very little sense of personal space. It could also be that she and the questioner simply didn’t click. Come to think of it, if the conversation doesn’t really get going, I usually end things with dinner only (no intimacy). I feel that pursuing an adult relationship (intimate) with someone you don’t really click with is a waste in many ways. Are points ③ through ⑤ even questions? I’m not really sure what’s being asked, but I don’t think enjoying sex and wanting to do it multiple times necessarily go hand in hand. Besides, even women who enjoy sex are unlikely to get really into it from the first time. And I feel there are quite a lot of women who say they like sex but don’t actually enjoy it that much. Alternatively, she may like sex but simply not have liked sex with the questioner. Of course, it’s also possible that she wasn’t particularly interested in sex at all, but got carried away in the video because she wanted an offer or an allowance. In any case, I think the reason this turned into a frustrating failure for the questioner was that he pursued an adult relationship (intimate) with someone he hadn’t really clicked with over dinner. Finding someone you genuinely enjoy spending time with means going through plenty of encounters with women like that along the way. Just chalk it up to a write-off and move on to the next one. As an aside, I was reminded of something, so I’ll mention it here. A certain percentage of women ask for your real name on the first date. When they ask, “What should I call you?” and you give them your club name, some of them respond, “But that’s your club name, isn’t it?” Maybe around 10 percent. I wonder why they ask. It feels a little unpleasant. They ask about your industry or line of work even more often. That’s not something I mind discussing, so I just answer honestly. Maybe they ask because I’m not wearing a suit.
