Thank you for your question.
It seems to me that men’s sex drives last until they themselves feel they’ve had enough. And there are many men in the world who reach that point.
I used to have a lot of business dealings with men over 60, and I often heard them say things like, “That sort of thing is long behind me now,” whenever women came up in conversation.
But they would still go golfing quite often, so they were certainly still in good shape. Naturally, they were all earning incredible incomes as well.
In the past, a list of the wealthiest people was published, and quite a few of them appeared near the top—within the top ten—in their respective wards. I imagine they were much like the men at this dating club. (Although when I asked them, they said, “The truly wealthy people aren’t listed there,” haha.)
Even when their circumstances were similar, it seemed that more of them had simply lost their sex drive.
So perhaps, while most people eventually lose their sex drive and become almost saint-like, the men who remain sexually active indefinitely tend to gather at dating clubs.
Also, in the past, there weren’t medications like Viagra, so some men may have stopped pursuing women once they could no longer get it up, even if they still had the desire.
There was also a strange rumor that those medications were bad for the heart. (I believe the actual issue was that they shouldn’t be taken with nitroglycerin.) So even if the medication was available, some people may not have wanted to take it.
And if they didn’t want to take it, then once they could no longer get it up, they simply stopped seeing women. I think that may have been another factor.

When I was younger, I was surprised too—thinking, “People in their 50s do that!?” But honestly, men in their 50s and 60s show no signs of slowing down at all…at least in spirit, haha.
There are some great medications available these days, and everyone’s enjoying themselves.
Apparently, there are even people in their 80s who still want to.

Back in the day, I used to wonder, “Do politicians and old men really appreciate the taste of those lavish meals they eat at traditional restaurants? Even at their age…?”
But then—
As I’ve gotten older and my appetite has diminished, I’ve found myself shifting from quantity to quality. With more experience under my belt, I’ve also become able to appreciate subtle flavors.
From quantity in my younger days to quality.
You start to notice those delicate nuances of deliciousness. Or rather, you begin to seek them out—and savor them.
It seems that sexual desire also shifts toward quality as it declines with age.
Perhaps it changes from something driven by momentum and numbers—like ejaculation and frequency—into something more continuous and connected.
Almost as if you’re savoring it…
It’s like how people in their late 40s, when their driving starts to decline, may actually become the safest drivers… Though after that, their skills may no longer keep up.

After turning 50, my body has started to decline, but my desire hasn’t gone away, so I rely on medication.

There are various theories, but I often hear that men’s sex drive peaks in their teens and twenties, then starts to decline in their thirties. Still, I’ve always felt that this “peak” refers more to the straightforward urge to ejaculate, which is different from the desire to do something erotic.
This is a little off topic, but I also often hear that women’s sex drive peaks in their thirties. Even with that theory, some people say that women in their thirties are actually too busy raising children, so their real peak must be in their twenties. I’m not sure which, if any, is true. I’ve even heard of a grandmother who keeps a jar for masturbation, so I think desire really depends on the individual and their circumstances at the time.
