Maezawa from the President’s Office here. Thank you for your question. I assume you’re a woman, and I completely understand wanting to register with a younger age. However, Universe verifies your ID and registers your date of birth in the system. As a result, once your birthday passes, your displayed age is automatically updated to the correct age. This is also something men appreciate, since they can feel reassured that the ages shown are accurate. So I think it’s best to assume everyone is in the same situation and simply put yourself forward at your real age. That said, men who have just joined may pay close attention to age. But since many women register every day, men who have been members for a while gradually tend to look at women based mainly on their photos and check their ages later. In that case, they may like your photo first and then notice your age afterward. Even if you turn out to be older than they expected, they may still go ahead and make an offer. For men, if they haven’t filled in their profile information, their age is usually displayed vaguely as “in their 40s” or “in their 50s.” And since many don’t update it after registering, some people may still be listed as being in their 50s even after turning 60. It’s a little unfair, but that’s the way the world is ><

I’m Tetsu, a male member. Absolutely out of the question.

I’m Kazu, a male member. I don’t think that’s a good idea.
