I’m a lost man in my 60s.
My usual offer criteria are B, with the occasional A…
The woman I’ve been seeing the longest—and with whom I’m currently breaking my record for duration—is an A-type.
When I first offered to meet her, I’d heard that A-type women were generally registered one class below the standard level. So there were virtually no women in the Black class, but lately I’ve been surprised to see women listed as A-Black(笑).
I think it may also depend on the woman’s age—specifically, how much she seems likely to change.
She was 18 when I offered to meet her. She was very innocent and unworldly—not exactly the same as being unsophisticated—and I thought, “I can see why she’d be in this class.” But I was drawn to her interesting profile, and I had a feeling she would definitely blossom, so I made the offer.
Now she’d qualify for Black, easily…though she’s already left the club(笑).
Even with women on the older side, if someone catches my interest, I’d consider her even if she’s an A-type…in fact, perhaps especially if she’s an A-type(笑).
That said, I feel the level of woman you’re hoping for may be a bit unrealistic if you’re going to be disappointed by the situation described in your question.

Thank you for your question.
I believe this is a continuation of your previous question, where you said that you weren’t overweight, so the following doesn’t apply to you:
“If you were rejected because you were overweight, you may need to explain that you’ve lost weight through dieting, for example.”
That said, even if you prepare for another interview, registering as Dating Type A may require looks good enough to appear on terrestrial TV.
So if you want to go ahead as you are, I feel it may still be difficult even if you attend another interview.
Of course, standards vary depending on the staff member. As I mentioned before, if you’re able to interview at a different branch, you might just barely pass there.
Also, if they seem ready to turn you down before even interviewing you, you could try saying something like:
“Oda from Kansai said in his Q&A box that, if you’re asking whether it’s possible or not, it’s possible. I really want a chance.”
That might possibly help.
Though, to be clear, it’s only a “maybe.”

Not being overweight and not being late are a given. Women in Types B through D aren’t overweight either, they’re punctual, and they’re attractive. Doesn’t this mean that something beyond that is required?

This topic has come up several times, so I’ll go ahead and answer.
For an A-type girl to be considered beautiful, I’d say she’d have to be “the cutest girl in her class.”
These days, classes are smaller, so even that might be a tough standard.
…The fact that she says, “At least I’m not overweight,” may already suggest it’ll be difficult.
I feel like it’s not enough to simply have no obvious negatives—you need to have something really positive going for you.
Still, I think it’s admirable that she’s planning to try again as an A type without resorting to type fraud.
Either way, I don’t think she should go for another interview right away, so she should keep at it for a while.
