The number of days doesn’t matter at all.
Even if the decision to accept someone has already been made that day, staff may be too busy with other work to complete the registration, and it can sometimes take a full week.
So whether you’re registered that same day or a week later, from the staff’s perspective, you’re still an accepted applicant—the only difference is whether they happened to be busy.
If you still haven’t heard back after a week, I recommend contacting the branch where you interviewed and asking them to check.

At first, I thought it was a problem that so many people were asking this question, so I checked the situation with the managers of each branch.
However, it turned out that most branches were notifying applicants of rejection within a week—or by the following day in many cases—and that only two branches nationwide were taking more than a week to communicate rejections.
So it seems the matter was simply left as it was.
That said, it’s still a mystery why this question keeps coming up regularly.
(Maybe they’re people who interviewed at those two branches?)
I had thought those two branches might have improved after learning through the reporting group that other branches were making rejection decisions known right away, but it’s still a mystery.
If people asking this question in the future could write something like, “I interviewed at [branch name]…,” we could immediately tell whether it was one of those two branches or one of the branches that reported having improved its process.
Although I understand it’s difficult to say when you don’t yet know whether you were rejected or not ＞＜
Incidentally, when someone sends in a question like this every time, it makes me think, “Maybe the situation still hasn’t improved? If they’re having this much trouble, we need to do something.”
So even if it’s the same question, it might be better to send it in if it’s coming from a different person.

I totally understand how frustrating that uncertainty feels. It took almost three weeks for me to hear back after applying to become an answerer too, haha.
Rather than letting it bother you, just assume you didn’t make it and move on to your next step.
Even if you did pass, it sounds like your registration is being put on hold, so there’s no guarantee they’ll contact you within a week.
