We register women whom we believe are likely to receive offers, so there are some requirements, such as age restrictions. However, if you’re confident and think, “I’m the one for this!” we encourage you to apply. (Of course, it is possible that registration may be declined after the preliminary photo screening.) Men also spend quite a bit before they are matched with a woman—let’s estimate roughly ¥100,000, although it varies widely. So to pass the screening, you need to have enough appeal to make them think, “I still want to meet her despite that.” Anything you receive from a man is compensation and support for you. The club’s involvement ends once the two of you meet, so if you would like to continue seeing each other, we recommend exchanging contact information and building a good relationship.

I’m Kazu, a male member. I recently saw someone over 50 register, so I assume women can register as long as they look attractive for their age—not necessarily young. I also saw someone who was almost 60 last month. That said, I do think the staff are more selective with women in their 40s and older than with those in their 30s or younger. Just the other day, I went on a date with a woman in her mid-30s, and women in their 30s really do have a nice sense of stability. I think every age group has its own appeal. I also recently learned that the admission requirements seem to have become stricter. Women aged 35 and over (possibly 36 and over) now have their photos reviewed before the interview. However, this is a little different: in this case, we ask the woman to show us her photos, so the screening process has become somewhat stricter than before. Even if you pass the photo screening, you still go through the usual interview screening. If you submit a particularly flattering photo, you may still be rejected at the interview. I stopped dead in my tracks and nearly popped my eyes out. Of the women I’ve made offers to and gone on dates with, there was one around 50. Even if you’re under 21, being nearly 30 years older is fine, so I think you’ll be okay as long as you have the charm to match your age. P.S.
