I’ve just signed up with a club like this for the first time, and this is also my first time doing papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan). I have a couple of questions: Should my profile photo be a personal photo? Also, what kind of outfits are preferred?

I’m Maezawa from the CEO’s office, and I’ll answer this one too. There seems to be a contradiction in this question. If the person asking is a woman, she says, “I registered,” so if she has already registered, she should know whether her profile photo is a personal photo. That makes the question, “Is the profile photo a personal one?” rather puzzling. If she only just registered, the profile photo should automatically be one taken during her interview. If the person asking is a man, I can understand wondering whether the profile photos are personal photos. But the question, “Also, what kind of clothing is preferred?” seems to refer to the profile photo because of the word “also,” so it would be strange for a man to ask what kind of clothing is preferred in women’s profile photos. I’m not really sure, but perhaps a woman who hasn’t registered yet asked this question? In that case, as for what to wear, with the seasons ahead, I’d say something like a form-fitting knit top would be unbeatable. I don’t mean the infamous “clothes that kill virgins”—just an ordinary, snug-fitting knit.(笑)

I’m Kazu, a male member. Based on the wording of your question, I’m assuming you’re asking as a male member. (If you were a registered female member, you would presumably already know the answer.) The clothes women are wearing in their profile photos may sometimes be their own, but in most cases they’re rental outfits provided at the club’s branches. So you’ll probably see several women wearing the same outfit on the members’ website. As for what men should wear, I imagine most people wear suits, but I’ve never worn one myself. As long as you look clean and presentable(笑), I don’t think it’s a problem. By “clean and presentable,” I mean freshly laundered and not rumpled. I think a crisp T-shirt would be preferable to a wrinkled suit. If you’re interested, please read this: https://universe-club.jp/help/questions/view/4279
