The columns for women are difficult to browse.

Question

The columns for men are arranged with the most recently updated ones first, making it easy to find the next installment, but the columns for women are organized by monthly rankings and rankings by theme, which makes them cluttered and makes it very difficult to find the article I’m looking for. Why is there such a difference? Are women more likely to read only the specific articles they’re interested in, rather than following a series from one installment to the next?

Mamimi from Universe Tokyo here. I actually prefer writing columns to blog posts too, but I figured hardly anyone was reading them, so I left mine saved as drafts and stopped publishing... Once people started saying, “The Universe blog is interesting,” the columns came along, only to be completely overtaken by the Q&A box. The male columnists are thriving, while Cinderella has been left behind... I’ll write one someday! Sorry.

This is Maezawa from the president’s office. It’s outside my area of expertise, so I’m not really sure. Hopefully someone from the column team can answer. If anything, I find myself wondering, “Why shouldn’t a man write for a column aimed at women?” Haha.
