Female members can’t see their own rank, but if Black, Platinum, and Gold male members appear in the profile search, does that mean the female member’s rank is Gold?

Universe Tokyo’s Mamiya answering. I don’t think that’s the case. A man’s membership class and motivation are probably linked, so that may also affect how much of his profile is made public. I think men who are hesitant about joining—or unsure whether to renew—tend to choose a lower class, and as a result, they’re less motivated to go on dates.

There was a similar question not long ago, but regardless of a woman’s rank, she can view the profiles of all men who have chosen to make their profiles public. Since there are very few Standard men who make their profiles public, I think it only appeared that way. We tell men not to disclose their own class, but if you ask, most of them apparently will answer. Men who volunteer the information may receive feedback from women, which can lead to the club warning them. However, I doubt any woman would report to the club that she found out by asking, so that may be one way to learn it. That said, if you contact us saying, “It looks like I’m in class XX—could you move me up?” then it indirectly reveals which man told you. So I think it ends up being: Knowing it but being unable to do anything >>> Knowing it but gaining very little from it.
