These days, it feels like things have returned to a point where traveling is reasonably possible, especially with the Go To Travel campaign underway.
It seems like more places are becoming available where you can spend time much as you did before.
Why not try visiting the kinds of places you used to go to?
P.S. Mac, I can’t believe you’re going all the way to Nemuro...
I used to travel there frequently for work as well—though I probably only went about 30 times. Still, my impression was that there was nothing much there, and once work was over, I’d leave right away. (Haha)
From Nakashibetsu Airport, Lake Mashu and Lake Akan are in the opposite direction from Nemuro, but they make me want to go sightseeing there. That said, I suppose our purposes are a little different.

If you’re a member from outside the area, why not make the most of the Go To campaign?
I don’t really like hot places, so hotels are definitely the best option. I’m interested in pool dates and high tea at hotels in Tokyo. It also sounds fun to visit a hotel with a jacuzzi or special activities.
As I answer these questions, I find myself wishing someone would take me along too—but I hope our members can fully enjoy all the things I wanted to do this summer in my place.

Sometimes, deliberately not going to a hotel can be nice too… It feels surprisingly fresh, and since there’s no set script, you can just enjoy seeing how things unfold. It’s also easier to find out where she’d like to go…
Another option is to give each other “homework” to think of places you’d both like to visit…
Yesterday, I went to a swingers bar for the first time, and the girl said she wanted to leave before she even had a chance to change…
Once you open that unfamiliar door, it seems to lead to a pretty interesting world… Apparently, there are different types and distinctions, such as couples’ cafés and swingers bars…
Hmm, I still haven’t received the thank-you message that normally comes right away…
P.S. It’s also surprisingly refreshing to visit places she usually goes to or wants to go, but that the man has never been to or would never normally visit—experiencing them for the first time together. She was happy and in a great mood, so it wasn’t bad at all.
One fond memory from the past is making annual passes for Universal Studios Japan using her ID, registering ourselves as family… (I don’t know whether that’s still possible…)

It was a few years ago, but they already used facial recognition back then… I think we either made passes with facial recognition for both of us and tried not to go there with our actual families so we wouldn’t get caught, or something like that… Since we had the same surname and address, it made me feel a little happy—almost like I was her husband… (At the time, it was possible with only the ID of the representative of the cohabiting family, but I wonder if every family member needs one now…)
So facial recognition does require identification for each individual after all. (Rin, sorry ＞＜ I seem to have made it sound as though I didn’t know about facial recognition… Apparently, even now, when registering as a family, it’s still fine to present identification for just one representative…)
