I’m a BB7 male member. Sometimes I find myself spacing out at work, reminiscing about last night’s 〇〇 or fantasizing about future 〇〇, and it’s starting to interfere with my work. But then I think that if I had nothing going on, I’d probably be living with pent-up frustration and stress instead of simply spacing out. So I’ve come to see it as a good way to take a mental break.

Universe Tokyo’s Mamiya here. Looking back, I often find myself wondering how long I’ll keep working at a dating club. When you’re repeating “@ックス” from morning to night, it can be hard to tell where reality ends and work begins. In the end, I figure, as long as I’m having fun, why not? More than a peaceful or even exciting everyday life, I think the happiest people in the world are those who find something they can truly lose themselves in. I’m Fuu, a columnist. Just like the person who asked this question, I’m in my second year and still completely hooked. My hobby is papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan). I’m so deeply into it that I feel like I can’t live without this arrangement anymore. In my head, it’s probably 100% Universe… to the point that even my long-term girlfriend, my family, and my work have disappeared from my thoughts. I’m a man, after all, so I think I’ve always lived and worked for that kind of pleasure. Maybe there’s hardly room in my head for anything else… But what about in my heart? Right now, I’m firmly connected with women from Universe, each with their own different types. I think the importance of Universe will vary greatly depending on where the person asking the question is in life. Also, regardless of age, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with letting the erotic side of Universe occupy your thoughts and using it as the energy source that keeps your life burning brightly. Your head can be 100% focused on pleasure, while your heart still holds on to and cherishes the things that are irreplaceable. Universe is the source of vitality that gets you fired up. It feels to me as though Universe keeps supplying fuel to those whose flames are gradually weakening and fading away.

For me, once some time had passed after joining and my arrangements became more stable, it started to feel like I’d gained one more cute—but slightly expensive—dependent（笑） If you’ve only just joined, you’ll get used to it eventually. I check the member page and add attractive women or women who catch my interest to my favorites. My favorites list keeps growing and is now packed（笑）—but that’s about as far as it goes for now. As for balancing it with work, I prioritize work during the day and only check the anonymous Q&A box during breaks, in the morning, or at night when I have nothing else going on. Since joining the dating club, I guess it feels like, “I’ve got something more to look forward to!” I feel a little more energized every day, and somehow more motivated to work. Am I becoming more positive about work? Or am I unconsciously being pushed to think, “I’ve got to make more money!”? Probably one or the other（笑）

When you’re not registered with Universe, even if you think you’re keeping it hidden, your employees and female business contacts may still pick up on a subtle hint of your sexuality. Once you become a Universe member, though, you can let that side of you out through enjoyable dates with women from Universe. That way, in your regular work life, people will see you as an extremely gentlemanly man, so there’s no need to worry. The fun is just beginning.
