I’d like to work as a staff member handling operations. Are you currently hiring?

This is Mamiya from Universe Tokyo. We’re truly pleased that you’re interested in joining our operations staff. Teamwork is everything at our Yokohama branch. Thanks to strong sales and good relationships among the staff, we rarely have anyone leave. In Tokyo, we’ve already closed applications for reemployment, and we’re delighted—though it’s a good problem to have—that we’ve made offers to many new graduates starting next year. Personally, I’d like to hire with the expectation that, come autumn, some staff may decide they dislike me enough to quit. We look forward to hearing from you.

Maezawa from the CEO’s office here. Actually, unlike before, we’ve basically stopped actively recruiting. That said, people inevitably leave every company, so we do sometimes recruit replacements for those positions. However, we no longer hire at the same rate as before, when our number of employees doubled in a single year. So depending on the timing and the region where we’re recruiting, there may still be a chance to work here—but if those don’t line up, it’s fair to say the chances are almost nonexistent. That said, we’re continuing to recruit new graduates as usual. So if you’re currently a student, you may still be able to apply and interview. (You would start working next spring.)
