→ I believe that’s exactly right.
When I was working directly with clients, the items we asked women about were breast augmentation, major scars, and tattoos.
That category does exist now.
- Breast augmentation → Older procedures were less advanced and looked very unnatural.
- Major scars → Scars in places that aren’t normally visible, such as surgical scars, C-section scars, or stretch marks.
- Tattoos → Even if it’s a small tattoo, some men feel disappointed when they only find out after the woman has undressed.
How many men actually care about cosmetic surgery?
→ Since “cosmetic surgery” is now listed on the members’ site, I don’t know how many men are concerned about it. (Those who care simply won’t make an offer.)
When I was working directly with clients, there weren’t any men who specifically cared about facial cosmetic surgery.
Some would say things like, “Hmm, something about the size of her eyes looks unnatural,” but they were referring more to an “unnatural balance” than to cosmetic surgery itself.
There must be a reason the cosmetic-surgery category was added, so I’ll check with the staff.
Personally, I don’t understand why people care, because cosmetic surgery is still surgery. I see it the same way as having a bolt put in your heel after a motorcycle accident, having your appendix removed, or undergoing reconstructive surgery after a mastectomy.
That said, I do sometimes wonder whether cosmetic-surgery enthusiasts might be emotionally troubled and constantly in need of money—but that isn’t limited to cosmetic surgery.
