Our internal system was changed, and it’s become difficult to tell where to extract the data from. For now, based on the following figures from some of today’s branches:
- Total number of arrangements: 121
- Number of online dates among them: 12
It looks like approximately 9.9% of people are using online dates.
Since these figures are for today only, they’re not statistically meaningful, but they may serve as a rough guideline.
Looking at the numbers, my impression is that it’s more common than I expected. I thought it would be just a few percent.

I’m Basil, a male member.
Since Golden Week, I’ve been doing 100% online dates.
Besides saving money, it also saves time on meals and travel. Thirty minutes is more than enough to discuss everything that needs to be discussed.
I always make it clear online that I’m looking for an arrangement that continues after dinner, but the progression rate is probably lower than with regular dates. I suppose there aren’t many women who can make that decision after such a short meeting without meeting in person.
That said, just under half of the women things progressed with—including B-types—started their very first date at a hotel, so that’s been another way to save time.

I’m Paper Airplane, a male member.
As long as online remains available, I plan to stick to online meetings only.
If it’s just 2–30 minutes, I can leave whenever I want, so not having to arrange my schedule is a huge help—really, really convenient. I’ve gotten hooked on that magic.
I hadn’t planned on making any offers until online became available, so I still haven’t made a single offer outside of online this year…
Universe really has a good sense for business in that respect.
It’s added to their sales, after all. I even ended up buying the festival points…
From what I hear from the women, though, online seems to be less common than expected.
