First of all, we conduct our interviews very rigorously. But if a woman says, “It’s fine,” what more are we supposed to say?
Are we supposed to interrogate her by demanding that she confess the truth and asking whether she’s lying? If there were a club doing that, wouldn’t it have shut down and disappeared long ago?
More than that, I’m concerned that you may be misunderstanding B and making offers based on that misunderstanding.
There may be some women who are secretly A, but basically, B falls somewhere between A and C. Even with C, one out of every two women will turn you down.
With B, the first meeting is dinner only (no intimacy). It’s not that an adult relationship (intimate) is absolutely off the table, as it is with A. However, B also means that it’s difficult for them to enter into an adult relationship unless they genuinely like the person.
During the interview, we explain things quite strictly: “You should be able to tell after meeting someone once whether you can have an adult relationship with them, so please reach a clear conclusion by the second meeting. Choosing to meet a second time means you should at least be open to an adult relationship.” That’s how strict we are.
In reality, though, women also apply their own filter, asking themselves whether the man is someone they would be willing to see.
At that point, isn’t it often the case that they simply feel, “This person would be difficult”?
They may want the money, but still want the man to be someone they like to some extent.
So, if you thought they were secretly A, it may simply be that your way of treating women wasn’t very good.
If you feel there are a lot of women who are secretly A, then the problem is probably with the content of your first dates. Rather than forcing yourself to stick with B, I think you’d be better off making offers to C women.
I don’t understand why you keep making offers to B while complaining about it. I think you should reconsider which dating type is actually right for you.

It’s Joe here, with another belated response.
Fortunately—or unfortunately—I’ve never met a woman who turned out to be a “type scam.” So whenever this kind of question comes up, I find myself thinking, “Type scam? If they really exist, I’d like to meet one.” Since I basically only do dinner-only (no intimacy) on the first meeting, I may simply not have noticed. And as you know, I’m nowhere near winning every encounter—in fact, I lose far more often than I win—so I’m hardly in a position to sound convincing.
Even assuming that women who commit type scams exist, I seriously doubt they could be screened out simply by making the first-meeting interviews more rigorous. In the first place, I can’t even think of what “making them more rigorous” would actually involve.
I’m not trying to mock the person who asked this—I’m also saying this as a reminder to myself—but from a woman’s perspective, isn’t making a huge fuss about type scams and demanding all sorts of things from the club incredibly uncool?
I think we should both try to enjoy this with a more easygoing attitude. And although I don’t think Type B women are the majority, Joe believes they’re one of the things that make Universe Club special.

Part of the appeal of papa-katsu is winning over women who seem fairly ordinary, so I generally focus on Type B, and go with Type C when I want to prioritize my odds. Women in Type B also tend to be better-looking and have stronger backgrounds.
There are some hidden Type A women mixed in, but there are also plenty of women who are practically Type C. Type B covers such a broad range, and that’s part of what makes it interesting.
I believe I mentioned this in another answer, but I do think the definition of Type B needs to be reviewed and broken down further. Especially since there’s also a Type E that doesn’t really function. That said, even if the definitions were changed, the basic issue is still the difficult gray area of whether anything happens after dinner. New complaints would just arise, and it would never end. No matter how much we discuss it here, it’s unlikely to change anytime soon.
If you could succeed every single time, it would be no different from using escort services. Why not enjoy the excitement and thrill of gradually winning someone over, like you did when you were younger?

I’m in my 60s and still trying to find my way. I gave Type C a try, but it ultimately reaffirmed that Type B is where I’m most comfortable.
> Please make the criteria for Type B much stricter.
If things are unclear right now, I think it’s fine to leave them as they are. I believe that uncertainty is part of the fun…
On a first date arranged with a Type A or Type B woman, it’s easy and enjoyable because I can focus on the conversation. Of course, I mean a genuine two-way conversation, not me doing all the talking.
Are you making an effort to entertain your partner?
Do you try to make her think, from the moment you greet her, that you’re a wonderful gentleman?
Are you assuming that providing support is all you need to do?
If you can also maintain the composure not to expect anything in return, there’s nothing to be afraid of… lol
Your question seems to suggest that Type B women are inherently bad, but I feel the outcome would probably be similar with Type C or Type D women as well.
By the way, I’m also in my mid-60s, but I never skip using a face mask after my daily bath… lol

I’m not sure if I should say this, but during my membership interview, the staff member in charge advised me, “Students are very hit-or-miss (and there tend to be more misses), so honestly, I can’t recommend them.” That’s why I’ve never made an offer to a student.
I have made offers to Type B members who are working adults or older, and I’ve never had a bad experience.
It’s only natural that students are less likely to move on to an adult relationship (intimate). After all, they don’t really understand the value of our only real weapon: money ^^;
Once women become working adults and start to understand the value of money—and can no longer rely on their parents financially—their tolerance for what they’re willing to put up with in exchange for money broadens. That may be why they’re more likely to move on to an adult relationship.
【Hypothesis】
・Student Type Bs have a narrower tolerance for adult relationships (intimate) because they’re not truly struggling financially.
【Advice】
Whether you can break through the high difficulty level of pursuing an adult relationship with a student Type B depends on the gentlemanly conduct and financial means of the male members of Universe—in other words, the allowance offered. Honestly, there’s only so much the club can do.
As Mr. Confused in His 60s said, if you can’t enjoy the challenge itself, including the difficulty involved, I think it’s safest not to make offers to student Type Bs.

These days, I assume that offers to B-type women are essentially A-type offers, so I continue making offers—and telling the women the same thing.
That’s generally how things turn out when we meet, too.
I also feel that C-type women come around because they think they’ll get fewer offers if they list themselves as B-type.
In any case, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with changing types later on.
P.S. I know 99% of the girls probably won’t go for it, but let’s make an offer while understanding that feeling of “maybe… just maybe…”
If a miracle happens for both of you, you might hit it off regardless of the listed type—or even if there was some misrepresentation.
Women are complicated creatures…
A senior thinks of her as a cute junior who looks up to her,
while the junior may actually have reached the point where she never wants to see her face again.
Even with someone of the same sex whom you’ve known for years… and then to discover that at the interview…
P.S. To “Lost in My 60s”:
I agree.
Lately, I’ve been making offers to girls with lower ratings…
P.P.S.
Rather than a perfect five-star or four-star rating, or someone safe and conventional,
there’s something irresistible about a deep relationship that develops when you truly click with a quirky, difficult, yet honest and wonderfully individualistic one- or two-star girl.
