Because the system has men choose from the women’s profile photos, the main criterion at that stage is pretty much appearance.
If they like a woman’s looks, they’ll watch her video next to check things like how she talks and her mannerisms.
A woman’s occupation may have a slight influence, and the keyword “virgin” also gets a reaction from some men.
For example, a man generally wouldn’t offer to meet someone in Dating Type A—but if she’s a virgin and says she’s still afraid of men, that’s a different story.
There are even some “heroes” who say, “I’ll keep taking you out to dinner until you’re no longer afraid.”
If the system allowed men to choose after meeting women in person, women could compete on factors other than appearance.
But under the current system, it feels like the decision is based almost entirely on looks.
In that case, I imagine there aren’t many men who would choose an average-looking woman in Dating Type A from among 7,000 profiles.
