That said, while we don’t have a campaign, male members who introduce another man who then joins receive enough points for one date—both the person making the introduction and the person being introduced receive them.
So, if you can find a male Universe member and have him introduce you, you can save a little.
You can leave comments in the column section saying that you’d like someone to introduce you. There might be someone willing to help, perhaps?
However, introducing someone you don’t know carries quite a bit of risk, so it may be difficult. If the person you introduce behaves inappropriately toward women, you may end up being viewed negatively as well.

In places like Tokyo, there are, since we have a large number of female members.
However, men have their preferences too. Even if we go to the trouble of finding someone who is available that day, a man may turn her down, saying she isn’t his type.
In that case, there’s no point.
Normally, men give us around ten candidates, and we look for someone from among them. But when we do that, it can be quite difficult to find someone available.
So, if any woman will do, there are usually people available. But since everyone has preferences, it’s probably best to assume that we may not be able to find someone.
We also explain this during the interview, but normally we ask men to make offers for dates at least a week in advance.
We’ll do our best to look for someone even if the request is for the day before or the same day, though…

Meeting in person gives you a better sense of whether it’s right for you, so at Universe, we do encourage people to come in for an interview fairly soon.
However, Universe already has a large number of interviews, so we’re not overly pushy. Even after the interview, I don’t think we’ll pressure you to join immediately.
Our attitude is more like, “It’s perfectly fine to get back to us later,” so you can come in with the relaxed mindset of simply having tea and talking with a staff member.
Most people do come in already intending to join, but at Universe, it’s perfectly fine to take your time and join only after you’re personally satisfied—what matters is what you think, not what anyone else does.
If you’re worried, you could apply for an interview by saying something like, “Would it be okay if I just came in to hear more about it?”

As Papuwa says, joining the Standard plan and browsing the women’s profiles is one option, but why not go all the way and choose Gold? The membership fee goes from 30,000 to 50,000 yen, but the number and quality of the women are completely different.
Then make an offer right away. Even if you only plan to go on a date with one woman, you can nominate several candidates, so you’ll likely find someone available that day or the next. And you don’t have to meet all of them.
The total cost up to that point is roughly 100,000 yen at most: a 50,000-yen membership fee, a 30,000-yen setting fee, up to 10,000 yen for transportation on the first meeting, and tea—or a meal, depending on the time.
What happens after that depends on what the questioner wants and how capable they are.
I followed this same pattern, hit it off from the very first meeting, and got hooked on this world. These days, I spend more time reading this Q&A site, but when I first joined, I used to stay up late browsing the women’s profiles.

The only remaining question is whether you have the guts to join right away.
There aren’t any trial campaigns or anything like that for women.
Once you get to know someone, she may be willing to accept last-minute invitations, so it also depends on you. That said, I don’t think the chances of her accepting a sudden offer are particularly high.
As for the kind of women you can invite in each class, the fact that the club has maintained this number of male and female members means there are certainly plenty of high-quality women to keep you satisfied.
Women being at least reasonably satisfied is important both for the club’s operation and for keeping the relationships going. If you understand that, I’d recommend joining. But if you’re prioritizing value for money, I don’t think you’ll have a particularly good experience.
