As a woman in her 40s, I’m happy to hear that question, though it may not mean much since you can narrow the search down to women in their 40s.
Universe gives the impression of having lots of younger male and female members, but since the overall membership is so large, there may actually be quite a few women in their 40s who are currently getting overlooked as the minority. So I sometimes think it would be nice if they held a “mature women’s festival” or something, haha.
Maybe offers for women in their 40s could be half price?

To be honest, I’m not particularly drawn to services that focus exclusively on one specific category.
Since you can search and filter profiles, wouldn’t it be enough to search for the type of woman you prefer?
For example, if you like mature women, you should be able to search by age and display only the women you’re interested in.
It seems a little like saying that, although Google is a general-purpose search engine, you wish there were a separate, car-specific Google that only searched for automobiles.
I suppose a service like that might be convenient once it existed, and there may well be demand for it. But I can’t help thinking, “Google as it is now works well enough…”
If there really were demand for it, I find myself wondering why Yahoo! Japan discontinued Yahoo! Directory on March 29, 2018, after 20 years, despite the service having launched in April 1996.
That said, if, as you say, many mature women are being rejected during the screening process, then we should respond to that demand and actively register more of them.
That might also help satisfy men who prefer mature women.
At present, many men say they prefer women around 30 or around 20, so some staff members inevitably raise the screening standards, assuming that those are the women who will receive offers.
But when I think that this may have prevented women who could otherwise have received offers from registering, it seems like a real waste.
If a wide variety of women could register and users could properly filter them through search,
then I’m not sure there’s necessarily a need for a specialized dating club.
President Kida once said that by specializing, attractive women could avoid being overlooked because of different standards.
There is no such project underway at the moment, but I feel that various ideas may start coming up once the COVID-19 pandemic has settled down.
