If we assume the questioner’s amount is the baseline, or 5x the standard amount: Recently, I met someone who asked for nearly 10 times that amount right off the bat. Another girl only asked for 2–3 times as much herself, but had once received as much as 50 times the baseline. I can understand why a man might pay that much, but no man can afford to pay that kind of amount to several women—or just anyone. He can only do it for his favorites. So if there’s already a man like that in her life, I usually move on after meeting her once or twice. On the other hand, some girls are happy with the standard amount or just a little more. They tend to show their appreciation more naturally, and conversations with them are more enjoyable. If I get the feeling that she’s dissatisfied, things become awkward. Things never work out long-term with girls who ask for more than three times the baseline themselves.
