The idea that your first month gets the most attention applies under normal circumstances. Since we have no precedent for what will happen after COVID-19 subsides, it’s hard to say. For example, men who have been staying home may go back and look through profiles they missed. If that happens, the idea that your first month after registering gets the most attention may not apply immediately after things return to normal. Under normal circumstances, men are constantly checking the women’s listings. Once a woman has been registered for a while, her profile is considered checked, so if she doesn’t receive an offer during that initial review, the chances of receiving one later are low. That’s where this idea comes from. In a situation like this, however, even if a month has passed, I think offers will properly start coming in once things settle down. So it seems the “first month after registration” rule may be disregarded. We won’t know until the time comes, though.
