If we check with the other person and they agree, something like a reverse offer may be possible.

However, the man would still be charged the standard setting fee, so if she isn’t his type, the reverse offer wouldn’t go through. Since men normally search for someone themselves and make offers, you should probably assume that, in most cases, they won’t make one.
Also, if a staff member who knows the man’s preferences to some extent thinks he would never make an offer to this woman, they would probably decline by saying something like, “We don’t have a reverse-offer system.”
So while it isn’t impossible, you should understand that the chances of it leading to a date are extremely low.
Also, this is an anonymous question box. Since we don’t know who the anonymous respondent is, there’s no one to pass the reverse offer on to in the first place.
That said, if—just if—this applies to you, and you were the person who submitted the recent question, or the person who asked someone else to write it for you, you must have felt relieved.

By “the previous questioner,” you mean the person who was upset about Mr. Saito’s column. And since this questioner is probably male, “the previous female member” must have been a mistake—it should be “all female members,” right?
I think “being active within your means” is a good mindset. There’s no end to looking at people above you and feeling envious. As I also wrote in my response regarding Mr. Saito, what matters is not how other people are doing, but whether you’re satisfied with the club’s services yourself.
Also, can women actually make reverse offers to men in the first place? Isn’t it just a matter of putting a “You seem great” mark on the profiles of men who have made their profiles public? If a woman asks the staff, do they contact individual men she likes after reviewing their profiles?
