Online dating is certainly an unconventional idea. I think it’s good.
That said, I’m the type who prefers to meet in person and get a feel for things firsthand. I guess I need to see the overall vibe to know(笑)

Maezawa from the Corporate Planning Office here as well.
I’d always felt that it offered significant benefits to men but fewer benefits to women—for example, not being treated to meals or receiving transportation expenses—but I suppose that was because I was thinking mainly of major metropolitan areas like Tokyo.
If it’s well received, I imagine it will continue, but we’ll have to see what happens.

I’d been planning to hold off on making any offers for a while, but this online date made me think I might give it a try, so I ended up calling to ask about it.
Even after the call, I found myself thinking, “Maybe I should do it after all.” My apologies, my apologies… Please forgive me.
I’m a man, and even though I had absolutely no intention of doing it, I was tempted to try it. So I’m sure the women can find plenty of benefits in it too.
Especially at a time like this, I think it’ll appeal to people who want to avoid meeting face-to-face.
Other than those who insist on meeting in person, I think most people would be open to it.
Women in particular, especially those in Types A and B, would probably welcome it.
After all, without either of you having to go anywhere, you can exchange contact information in just 10 or 20 minutes, then take your time deciding whether you want to meet again.
Being able to decide whether to meet a second time without actually meeting the first time is amazing.
P.S. meg,
It really does make you worry, doesn’t it…
Sorry if I end up making an offer (;_;)

For me, it’s basically Universe’s online dating project going, “What on earth are you doing for us?!”
You never know when my papa (a male supporter) might start turning his attention in that direction, so these are truly frightening times (^_^;)
But precisely because of the current situation, wouldn’t it offer even more benefits to both men and women—not just the person who asked the question?
It really is a chance to meet people from far away, too.
How wonderful (*^^*)
Please make the most of it!
And if you feel like it, I’d love to hear how it goes as well~♪
Dear Hikōkiya,
I knew itttt!
See, see? There are people who feel that way, right?
I’m so worried I can’t sleep (lol).
