I’m a Gold-level woman. When I ask for 50, surprisingly, about half of them ask if I’d accept 30 instead. I don’t accept in those cases, but is the going assumption that Gold means 30?? Conversely, some people offer 100 even though I’m Gold, but that’s quite generous, isn’t it?

I’m a BB7 male member. I remember the going rates being a hot topic on this forum about one or two years ago. I don’t remember the details, but I think it was based on statistics from some survey—not Univ. At the time, people said the going rates were roughly the amounts offered for each rank: S = 2, G = 3, P = 5, B = 6 or more. I remember things getting heated, with some saying those rates were too low, others saying they were reasonable or too high, and some arguing that there’s no such thing as a going rate in the first place. My impression at the time was that G = 3 was considered reasonable. Since then, it seems all kinds of information and opinions have become mixed together—between those who want to raise their allowance, those who don’t, and men and women who love one-upping each other—until we got to where we are now. People have different attitudes toward money, so I think it’s fine for everyone to decide what works for them.

I’m Hikōki, a male member. I think it depends on how much the man likes his partner. Even if you choose someone based on photos and videos, you can’t know what she’s really like until you meet her. Very occasionally, you may think, “Huh? She’s completely different from my type.” It has nothing to do with whether she’s in the Gold or Platinum class—you simply find out after meeting that she isn’t what you expected. On the other hand, sometimes the person is even better in real life. When that happens, you feel excited and want to be more generous with the allowance. Regarding the “10” you mentioned, I’m guessing the other person really liked you.

Maezawa from the Corporate Planning Office here as well. > Even though I’m Gold, some people offer 10. To that man, it means he liked you that much. It may not happen often, but I think your humility in that situation may be another reason he became even more interested in you. If the amount isn’t one you’re comfortable with, it’s perfectly fine to turn it down. And when someone offers you more, responding modestly is a lovely gesture. That said, I also want you to know that people offer more because they find you that appealing. I can’t speak for everyone else, but your registered class can vary depending on which staff member interviews you, even at the same branch. If a man uses that class as the basis for your allowance, his way of thinking is misguided. Regardless of your class, you should discuss an amount based on what he can afford—or perhaps based on how much he likes you. Please don’t forget that an arrangement only works when both parties agree.
