“What have you gained and lost by joining a dating club?”
As you’ve probably imagined, the answers are pretty obvious to anyone.
But if I had to dig a little deeper:
What I gained: an appreciation for the wabi-sabi found in fleeting relationships under the name of dating.
What I lost: my pure, innocent self—the one who used to get excited whenever I happened to see a beautiful woman or actress.

What I’ve lost
→ If someone like Type A had been brought down, then of course there must be something they lost.
・Some may have lost their sense of money.
What I’ve gained
→ A wonderful boyfriend who’s genuinely in love with me, pleasure, and emotional fulfillment.
It’s all good stuff♪
P.S.
Oh, Papuwa, I forgot to mention this, but I’m glad your little brother was able to take his exam safely last month~ He’s probably a really capable kid.
My child took the exam too, but it looks like their first-choice school might be a bit out of reach (^_^;)
That’s just how boys are.
I hope he gets in♪

For male members, I suppose what they’ve lost would be money. But rather than “lost,” I feel “spent” would be more accurate, so I don’t think they’ve really lost anything in particular.
That said, I’ll leave it to the other answers to determine whether they’ve actually lost something.
As for women, what have they lost…?
I wonder.
What they’ve gained may be more options for enjoying life.
But I wonder what others think about that as well.
