> If there’s no problem, you can add a certification mark to your profile, right?
I don’t think there was a certification mark, but—
At Universe, we recommend something called a “Partners Check.”
A Partners Check is essentially an STD (sexually transmitted disease) test.
Ideally, all members would take a Partners Check. At the very least, we’d really appreciate it if all respondents could cooperate, but it does cost money, so I understand that it can be difficult... > <
By the way, you don’t have to go to a hospital for a Partners Check. Our affiliated clinic provides test kits that allow you to test yourself easily at home. Of course, you can also visit the affiliated clinic and get tested there directly.
The test kits are available at a small discount.
There’s a link to the Partners Check page in the member section. I’d like to post the link here too, but I seem to remember being told last year not to, since non-members might also be able to access it.
Personally, I don’t think it would be a problem if non-members could view the Partners Check page, but in any case, please log in to the member section and check it from there.
Once you take the test through the clinic and send the results to Universe, your profile will say: “Partners Check completed: [year/month/day], negative for all items.”
This applies to men as well as women.
Apparently, there have been cases where respondents took the test and reported it to their branch, but it wasn’t listed on their profiles. (It came to light during conversations with women. > <) However, I believe it is being properly recorded now.
Even if you were tested somewhere other than an affiliated clinic, it can still be noted on your profile as such, so I think sending in the test results would be worthwhile.
If you don’t have the results sheet, though, we can’t list it...

> I just had this thought—if someone I really dislike forcibly takes me to a hotel and is about to have unprotected sex with me, wouldn’t it be effective to yell, “I’m HIV-positive! Stop!”?
No, don’t do that.
The man will report it to the club. Since the club has no way to determine whether the woman actually has HIV, they won’t be able to leave her registration active after receiving such a report.
As a result, her profile will be hidden until she takes an HIV test and submits the results. It would become a huge hassle.
She probably wouldn’t want to remain registered under those circumstances anyway, and would likely quit, thinking, “If they don’t trust me, I don’t want to be part of a club like that.”
Careless lies can sometimes be dangerous, so please be careful.

Apparently, some people occasionally use this kind of lie with men they never want to see again and dislike—such as saying they might have an STI and are planning to go to the hospital the next day.
However, it could cause problems if the rumor spreads, so they apparently only do it in truly extreme cases.

> Don’t you ever think she’s being too pushy?
No, I don’t.
If anything, I’m reassured and view her as someone I can date with peace of mind.
In my case, when the relationship ended, I gave her a testing kit and asked her to get tested. She told me that the results showed no abnormalities, although she didn’t seem to have reported it to the club.
I got tested at the same time, so a woman I later offered to meet said my profile mentioned that I had completed an STI test. Women involved in papa-katsu are young and have their whole futures ahead of them. I want to assure them that I’m safe so they can feel comfortable seeing me, and I hope they’ll always put their safety first.
It seems that tests can miss an infection during its early stages. However, if both people get tested when starting something new, occasionally during the relationship, and again when it ends, you can keep track of your status. I recommend that both parties get tested so they can participate with peace of mind.
> About what percentage of the women here get tested for STIs?
Everyone I’ve dated has—100%. However, they didn’t seem to have reported it to the club.
As for the club overall… I’m not sure.

I’m a male member, Paper Airplane.
I feel like I’ve heard of it before, but I’ve never really paid attention to it and have no idea where it’s displayed.
Even if it is displayed, I don’t know whether that would actually give me peace of mind, or what would happen if we continued seeing each other afterward.
I also don’t know whether the other person is the serious type who thinks about it the same way, or someone accustomed to getting tested through working in the adult industry.
So I don’t think I’d worry about it much at all.
