Usually, meetings last anywhere from about an hour and a half to just over three hours.
Looking at the full range, though, they’ve lasted anywhere from 30 minutes to five hours.
Outside the club, there have also been plenty of times when I only stopped by for three to five minutes—just passing through, seeing her face, visiting her in the hospital, or dropping off a souvenir or gift. But at the club, the shortest so far has been about 30 minutes.

If it’s just dinner and a hotel, it usually takes around three to four hours. If we go out somewhere, it can take longer. When I’m short on time, we might just have dinner for an hour or two and then call it a day.
Ideally, we spend a reasonable amount of time together and then part ways with a simple “see you.”
Women who calculate things by the hour—“It’s been X hours, so the allowance should be Y”—make it feel like a rental girlfriend service, which is a real turnoff. I don’t get involved with women like that.
