2012… That was eight years ago.
At that time, I believe President Kida was still running the club by himself. (It’s possible one other person had joined and there were two of them, but that’s probably about it.)
He apparently interviewed women, met with men who wanted to join, handled arrangements, entered data, and even modified the database (Access) late at night to make it easier to use—all by himself.
As for the photos, I hear they were taken by a professional, and there was also a professional makeup artist.
However, it seems that after a while, he decided to switch to taking the photos themselves. Apparently, that was also when they stopped having a professional makeup artist.
So, there’s currently no makeup artist, and I don’t think there’s time set aside for that either.
Incidentally, the staff still take the photos themselves today, but naturally, they all take it very seriously. They’ve taken an incredible number of photos—some cameras have exceeded 500,000 shutter releases and even broken after only about two years of use—so it would be stranger if their skills hadn’t improved.

It’s possible, but if things are busy, there may not be time to change, and you might end up going straight into the shoot.
The staff simply won’t assume that you need to change, so if they say, “We’ll take your photos now,” I recommend saying, “I’ll change right away, so could you wait a moment?” and changing before the shoot.
