If I’m going to have a mistress anyway, I’d like to offer the position to a woman who can also handle work for my company. How many women here are designers? Would a relationship where I’m both her boss at work and her lover be possible? I’d appreciate hearing about anyone’s experiences.

Maezawa from the Corporate Planning Office here as well. As others have said, I think you’re better off staying away from it. It’s far too risky.

If you choose to do that, I think it’s best to carefully consider all the various factors that could result from the arrangement before moving forward. In particular, whether she could still play an active role as an employee if the relationship were to end is an important consideration. P.S. Ahh, Meg-san, I’m sorry. Please forgive me—it was only meant as a general observation. Since I’m answering as a respondent and column writer, I thought I’d flatter you a little, but... For the time being, I’m not looking for anyone new to date, so please rest assured.

I’m Meg, a female member. If you don’t mind, I’d like to say my piece. Borrowing Date◎Yume’s words, even though I’m a woman in my 40s who’s “charging in alone” among all the many young, beautiful women in their 20s and 30s, I have to admit that I wouldn’t want to become the questioner’s mistress. I’m sorry. P.S. Date◎Yume I’m spending my days nervously wondering when I’ll finally be “beaten at my own game” someday (lol). It’s okay—I burst out laughing because it was so completely unlike how I actually look~♪ Thank you for flattering me.
