Back when it was still there, Mac, A, and others regularly left comments, which I personally enjoyed and found helpful. On the other hand, although no one was singled out by name, some members felt that these exchanges amounted to “making the site their own.” That’s why I asked for the comment section to be removed, but there was no deeper meaning behind it. Actually, once it was gone, I found the posts felt somewhat lacking myself.
