I think it would be best to make sure she genuinely won’t be in trouble if she quits, while making it clear that you’re fine either way.
If you push her toward quitting and she ends up having financial difficulties as a result, you may feel responsible and need to increase her allowance. It may also make it harder to end things when you decide you want to part ways.
