I don’t need someone who’s merely fifth-best, and often I wouldn’t want someone even if she were the most attractive in her class—or even free.
Though saying “the most attractive in her class” makes you wonder how many people like that there are in this world.
It’s hard to put into words, but I don’t think it’s about thinking, “How much can I get?” or “How much can I pay?”
I think it’s about whether you have the kind of charm that makes someone think, “I want to see her no matter how much it costs.”
Are celebrities all beautiful?
Or do they start to look beautiful to you?
↑ It feels a little similar to the way some otaku lavish money on idols they can meet these days.

I thought about what I look for when making an offer.
Appearance is very important, so I first narrow it down to around 20 women based on how they look.
Then I make my decision by checking their profiles, staff comments, and so on. In that sense, I feel that appearance tends to become a secondary consideration.
Thinking about it that way, in my case, the main condition is whether someone fits within a certain range. Once she meets that condition, I suppose it comes down to how much I like her.
That’s how I see it.

Since everyone has different tastes—and relationships won’t last based on looks alone—I think it’s entirely possible for around half the class, or even more, to be considered attractive enough.
Also, once men get tired of beautiful women, some may suddenly go for a girl who looks so unattractive that people around them wonder, “What happened this time?” Both men and women can be pretty fickle.
