I’ve never heard of a man feeling guilty about it, so are you referring to women?
Some women may be emotionally vulnerable, so I suppose that could happen. However, unlike with an app, you have to go through an interview before you can register. So I feel that anyone who feels guilty about it would probably stumble before even coming in.
That said, papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan) has become so widespread and casual these days that I do wonder whether anyone still feels guilty about it.

I’m registered because I don’t feel any guilt about it.
Since joining, I haven’t felt anything shady either, so I think I’ll continue.
Because these relationships start with money as a given, I do sometimes feel a little empty. If I ever quit, it might be when that sense of emptiness grows stronger. (Though when I think about getting older over the years, I feel like I probably won’t quit after all...)

At this point, I would stop or graduate from the dating club if I no longer had a reason to use it, or if physical or mental circumstances made it impossible for me to continue.
