For example, if a man tells her he wants her to leave the club, but she actually doesn’t want to quit, I think it’s only natural for her to put the blame on the club. She might say something like: “I told them I wanted to quit, but they said, ‘You’re popular in the higher tier and receive regular offers, so we’d really appreciate it if you stayed registered. All you have to do is go on a few dinner dates.’ So I’m staying registered out of inertia.” I think saying something along those lines would be perfectly normal. To begin with, if you, the questioner, told the woman that you wanted her to leave the club, that would be grounds for forced removal. But how did the conversation even get to that point? Normally, if a woman tells us she wants to leave, we ask her why and then process her withdrawal. If she says the reason is that a man told her he wants her to quit, then that isn’t truly her own decision, so we may suggest possible solutions. That said, we’re only making a suggestion. If she still says, “I want to quit,” we’ll process her withdrawal.

I’m a male member in Seattle. Assuming what the woman said was true and not exaggerated, that’s definitely a problem. I wish people who aren’t serious would either suspend their membership or switch to Type A. Otherwise, it’s just a waste of everyone’s time.
